May Light always surround you;
Hope kindle and rebound you.
May your Hurts turn to Healing;
Your Heart embrace Feeling.
May Wounds become Wisdom;
Every Kindness a Prism.
May Laughter infect you;
Your Passion resurrect you.
May Goodness inspire

Since I was in NYC for Hercules, I thought I would post some snow pictures since I live in Florida and never get to post it. The weather quieted the city. The wind was so bitter that to stay out would freeze the air in ones lungs. I could walk only one to three blocks. The pigeons were grounded and there were no horses in the park. I thought you would like to see pictures from our cab.

Beautiful, and serene photos. We definitely do not see that kind of weather down here in FL.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful 2014 dear Sharon ~ FlowerLady
So true are your words about starting within and building from the ground up....I personally look at each day as a new beginning so New Years resolutions have never been terribly huge on my list unless of course it is about the garden!! Happy new year friend! And such lovely shots of the city covered in snow!!! Peace. Nicole
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like a good snow to slow life down and focus a mind.
ReplyDeletetrue but what blew my mind was people shopping...what could any one have needed on madison ave.??? ever?? haha..have they ever heard of books???
DeleteThe cold might be biting but the wintry beauty is still there. As you yourself have experience, it makes one ponder and reflect.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Sharon. . . although they really make me thankful to live in Florida! :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, I must admit, as pretty as snow is, the tropics feel pretty good, and warm. May you have a very happy New Year, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat to find your blog this morning while having my coffee.
ReplyDeleteWhen I read the title of your blog and the title of this post, I thought WOW-

Honesty is indispensable for me, too. Your snowscapes is very beautiful. The very cold wave is settling in your place,I heard. According to TV that cold wave will come here.
ReplyDeleteMay you have nice 2014,Sharon!
When I saw your header I thought this is snow in Miami, Sharon. Oh, of course you've been to NYC. Sure no snow in your place. We have a lot of snow here, the temps are -14C, so go out only when I really need.
ReplyDeleteNice pictures!
NYC in the winter? You are brave! That is a lot of snow indeed. Your sentiments for 2014 are so well spoken. Happiest New Year to you!
